Exciting keynote addresses have just been announced for the 7th International Symposium on Transportation Visualization. They include:

• MIT Media Lab Alum, Author of “Visualizing Data” and principal of Fathom, Ben Fry
• RITA Deputy Administrator, Greg Winfrey (invited)
• FHWA Chief Scientist, Office of Research, Development, and Technology, Jonathan Porter
• US DOT, Bureau of Transportation Statistics Director, Patricia Hu

We have also added an exciting new panel discussion session on “The Role of Visualization in Entertainment and Engineering” with panelists that include:

• Phil Tippet, Tippett Studios
• Craig Barron, Matte World Studios
• Bart Ney, Public Involvement Officer for Caltrans on the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge East Span Replacement
